About trimming audio
Cutting an audio file down to just the part you want — the right clip of a podcast, the chorus of a song, a specific moment from a voice memo — is easiest with a visual waveform to work against rather than guessing at timestamps. This tool decodes an audio file, shows its waveform, and lets you drag to select exactly the section to keep.
The file is decoded into raw audio samples with the Web Audio API, the selected time range is sliced out of the buffer directly, and the result is re-encoded for download — entirely in your browser. Because trimming works on the decoded sample data, the cut point is sample-accurate, not rounded to the nearest second.

Is the cut sample-accurate?+
Yes — the trim happens on the decoded PCM samples, so it's precise to the frame.
Do you upload my files to a server?+
No — every tool here processes your files entirely on your device, and nothing is uploaded to a server. The only exception is the AI tools, which send the extracted text (not the file) to Claude to do their work.
Is there a file size limit?+
There's no artificial limit we impose, but since processing happens in your browser, very large files (500+ MB or 1,000+ pages) are limited by your device's memory rather than by us.
