About overlaying a photo on a video

This composites a photo onto every frame of a video at a corner, size and opacity you choose — useful for a persistent logo, watermark-style branding, or a small picture-in-picture-style overlay that isn't meant to move.

Both files are read and combined entirely in your browser with WebCodecs; the photo is drawn onto each decoded frame before the video is re-encoded. Position, size and opacity are fixed for the whole clip in this pass.

Supported files

Video: MP4, MOV or WebM. Photo: JPG, PNG or WebP.

Is my file uploaded?

No. The video and the photo are both decoded and drawn onto a canvas locally — nothing is uploaded.

Add Photo to Video — frequently asked questions

Is my video or photo uploaded anywhere?+

No. The video and the photo are both decoded and drawn onto a canvas locally, frame by frame, entirely in your browser — nothing is sent to a server.

Does the photo show for the whole video?+

Yes — the same photo is drawn onto every frame from start to finish, at whichever position, size and opacity you set before running the tool.

What image formats work?+

JPG, PNG or WebP. PNG with a transparent background looks cleanest if the photo isn't a full rectangle.

Can I move the photo partway through the video?+

Not yet — position, size and opacity are fixed for the whole clip.

Do you upload my files to a server?+

No — every tool here processes your files entirely on your device, and nothing is uploaded to a server. The only exception is the AI tools, which send the extracted text (not the file) to Claude to do their work.

Is there a file size limit?+

There's no artificial limit we impose, but since processing happens in your browser, very large files (500+ MB or 1,000+ pages) are limited by your device's memory rather than by us.
