Split PDF by Page Range, Free & Online

Splitting takes one PDF and produces several smaller ones, chosen by page — a range, an equal number of pages per chunk, or one file per page. Use it to pull a single chapter out of a long report, to separate a batch scan back into individual documents, or to divide a document into even parts. This tool always works by page count; if what you actually need is each output file under a specific file-size limit in MB or KB (for an email attachment cap, say), Split PDF by File Size is the dedicated tool for that instead.

The split happens entirely in your browser: the original is parsed, the pages you choose are copied into new PDFs, and each result is offered as its own download (or bundled into a ZIP). The source file is never sent anywhere, and the pages that come out are byte-for-byte the same as they went in.

There are three ways to say which pages you want. Give comma-separated ranges (1-3,5,7-9) and each range becomes its own file. Use "Every N pages" to break a long document into equal chunks without typing every range — the last file just gets whatever is left over. Or list single page numbers (1,2,3) to explode the PDF into one file per page.
