About converting SVG to JPG

The same rasterizing idea as SVG to PNG, for the cases that specifically need JPG — smaller files, universal support, no transparency.

The SVG is rendered onto a canvas at your chosen size and exported as JPG at your chosen quality, entirely in your browser. Since SVGs are often transparent and JPG isn't, the transparent areas are flattened onto a solid background color during export.

Supported files

Accepts SVG images. Produces a .jpg image at your chosen resolution.

Is my file uploaded?

No. The SVG is rendered to a canvas and exported as JPG entirely in your browser — the file is never uploaded.

SVG to JPG — frequently asked questions

Is the file uploaded?+

No — the SVG is decoded and re-encoded as JPG entirely in your browser.

Any quality loss?+

Only the single rasterize-to-JPG encode, which is negligible at default quality.

Is there a free way to rasterize an SVG to JPG?+

Yes — this tool rasterizes the SVG as JPG entirely in your browser, free and with nothing uploaded.

Does it keep a transparent background?+

No — JPG has no transparency, so any transparent area in the SVG is flattened onto a white background.

Do you upload my files to a server?+

No — every tool here processes your files entirely on your device, and nothing is uploaded to a server. The only exception is the AI tools, which send the extracted text (not the file) to Claude to do their work.

Is there a file size limit?+

There's no artificial limit we impose, but since processing happens in your browser, very large files (500+ MB or 1,000+ pages) are limited by your device's memory rather than by us.
