About looping a video
Short clips made for backgrounds, GIF-style social posts or ambient loops often need to repeat several times to reach a useful length. This repeats a clip end-to-end, 2 to 20 times, with video and audio staying in sync across every repetition.
Because every frame of the source has to be held in memory to be written out repeated, the source is capped at 30 seconds and the total output at 120 seconds — generous enough for most looping use cases without risking the tab running out of memory on a very long or high-resolution clip.
Supported files
Accepts clips up to 30 seconds (MP4, MOV or WebM). Produces an output up to 120 seconds.
Is my file uploaded?
No. Looping happens entirely in your browser — the video is never uploaded.
Common problems
- "Source too long" or a similar rejection
- Trim the clip to 30 seconds or less first with Trim Video, then loop the shorter result.
- Output rejected for being too long
- Lower the repeat count — the total looped length is capped at 120 seconds.

Loop Video — frequently asked questions
Is my video uploaded anywhere?+
No. It's decoded, repeated and re-encoded entirely in your browser — nothing is sent to a server.
Why is there a 30-second source limit?+
Looping buffers every decoded frame in memory before writing them back out repeated — a longer source clip risks exhausting the tab's memory. Trim it first if it's longer.
Why is the total output capped at 120 seconds?+
A high repeat count on a longer clip could otherwise produce an unreasonably large file — lower the repeat count if you hit the cap.
Does the audio loop too?+
Yes — video and audio are both repeated in sync, each pass picking up exactly where the last one ended.
Do you upload my files to a server?+
No — every tool here processes your files entirely on your device, and nothing is uploaded to a server. The only exception is the AI tools, which send the extracted text (not the file) to Claude to do their work.
Is there a file size limit?+
There's no artificial limit we impose, but since processing happens in your browser, very large files (500+ MB or 1,000+ pages) are limited by your device's memory rather than by us.
