About converting TIFF to PDF

TIFF is common for scanned documents and archival images, but PDF is the more shareable, universally-openable format for actually sending or presenting that content. This tool converts one or more TIFFs into a single PDF.

Each TIFF (including multi-page TIFFs) is decoded and placed onto its own page in a new PDF with pdf-lib, at full resolution — entirely in your browser, preserving the original image quality.

Supported files

Accepts TIFF images, including multi-page TIFFs. Produces a PDF with each image/page as its own PDF page.

Is my file uploaded?

No. Decoding and conversion both happen entirely in your browser — the file is never uploaded.

TIFF to PDF — frequently asked questions

Does this handle multi-page TIFFs?+

The first image in each TIFF is used. Split a multi-page TIFF into single files first if you need every frame.

How is the TIFF decoded without an upload?+

A TIFF decoder runs in your browser (via the utif2 library) — the file never leaves your device.

Is there a free way to convert a multi-page TIFF scan to PDF?+

Yes — this tool decodes the TIFF and builds the PDF entirely in your browser, free and with no upload.

Is my file uploaded to convert it?+

No — TIFF decoding and PDF assembly both happen entirely in your browser.

Do you upload my files to a server?+

No — every tool here processes your files entirely on your device, and nothing is uploaded to a server. The only exception is the AI tools, which send the extracted text (not the file) to Claude to do their work.

Is there a file size limit?+

There's no artificial limit we impose, but since processing happens in your browser, very large files (500+ MB or 1,000+ pages) are limited by your device's memory rather than by us.
