About removing audio from a video
Stripping the audio track from a video — to add different music later, to share silently, or because the original audio wasn't meant to be public — shouldn't need re-recording or a heavyweight video editor. This tool removes a video's audio track while leaving the picture completely untouched.
It decodes and re-encodes the video with WebCodecs, the browser's native hardware-accelerated video codec API, dropping the audio track entirely during that pass rather than muting it in place — so the output genuinely has no audio track, not just a silenced one. Everything runs on your device.
