About resizing PDF pages
A PDF assembled from mixed sources — a scan at one size, an export at another — can end up with inconsistent page dimensions, which looks odd on screen and can print unevenly. This tool rescales every page to a single standard size: A4, Letter, Legal or A3.
Each page is scaled uniformly to fit the target size and centered on it with pdf-lib, entirely in your browser — nothing is stretched unevenly or cropped, so a portrait page fitted to a slightly different aspect ratio keeps its proportions with a small margin rather than being distorted to fill the new size exactly.

No — each page is scaled uniformly (the same factor on both axes) to fit within the target size, then centered, so proportions are preserved. That can leave a margin on two sides if the original's aspect ratio doesn't match the target.

No — the whole original page is scaled to fit, nothing is cropped off.
