About flipping a video
A sideways-looking selfie clip or a mirrored webcam recording usually just needs a horizontal flip to read correctly; a phone held upside down needs a vertical one. This does either in one pass.
Every frame is decoded and redrawn flipped with WebCodecs, then re-encoded — entirely in your browser. It's a full re-encode rather than a lossless flag flip, so there's the same small, normal quality loss as any other re-encode here, but audio and resolution are otherwise untouched.
Supported files
Accepts MP4, MOV or WebM. Produces a flipped video in the same format.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The flip happens entirely in your browser with WebCodecs — nothing is uploaded.

Flip Video — frequently asked questions
Is my video uploaded anywhere?+
No. It's decoded, flipped and re-encoded entirely in your browser — nothing is sent to a server.
Does flipping affect quality?+
The video is fully re-encoded (WebCodecs), so there's a small, normal amount of re-encoding loss — same as any other browser-based video tool here, not a mirroring-specific issue.
What's the difference between horizontal and vertical?+
Horizontal mirrors left-right (like a mirror image) — the common choice for webcam clips that look reversed. Vertical flips top-to-bottom (upside down).
Is there a length limit?+
No hard cap, but very long clips take proportionally longer to process since every frame is decoded and re-encoded.
Do you upload my files to a server?+
No — every tool here processes your files entirely on your device, and nothing is uploaded to a server. The only exception is the AI tools, which send the extracted text (not the file) to Claude to do their work.
Is there a file size limit?+
There's no artificial limit we impose, but since processing happens in your browser, very large files (500+ MB or 1,000+ pages) are limited by your device's memory rather than by us.
