About flipping PDF pages

Mirroring a page — flipping it horizontally or vertically — comes up more often than you'd expect: fixing a page scanned upside-down or back-to-front, or creating a mirrored version of a design for a specific print or transfer process. This tool mirrors every page of a PDF along the axis you choose.

Each page is re-rendered as an image with pdf.js, mirrored horizontally or vertically, and rebuilt into a PDF with pdf-lib — entirely in your browser. Because this works by re-rendering, selectable text becomes part of a flattened image in the output, same as any other re-render-based tool here.

Supported files

Accepts a PDF. Produces the same PDF with every page mirrored horizontally or vertically.

Is my file uploaded?

No. Flipping runs entirely in your browser with pdf.js and pdf-lib — nothing is uploaded.

Flip PDF Pages — frequently asked questions

Use case?+

Iron-on transfers, backlit-scan correction, or mirror-writing worksheets.

Is text still selectable?+

No — flipping re-renders each page as an image.

Is there a free way to mirror every page of a PDF?+

Yes — this tool mirrors every page entirely in your browser, free and with nothing uploaded.

Can I flip just one page instead of the whole document?+

Not in this version — it flips every page the same way. For a single page, use Organize PDF instead, though that only rotates rather than mirrors.

Do you upload my files to a server?+

No — every tool here processes your files entirely on your device, and nothing is uploaded to a server. The only exception is the AI tools, which send the extracted text (not the file) to Claude to do their work.

Is there a file size limit?+

There's no artificial limit we impose, but since processing happens in your browser, very large files (500+ MB or 1,000+ pages) are limited by your device's memory rather than by us.
