About converting HEIC photos to PDF
HEIC (also called HEIF) is the default photo format on modern iPhones — smaller and higher quality than JPG, but not something every app, printer or Windows PC opens without extra software. This tool decodes one or more HEIC photos and lays them out as pages in a single PDF, a format everything can open.
Each HEIC file is decoded to a standard bitmap in your browser, then placed onto its own PDF page at full resolution with pdf-lib — the same page-building step Images to PDF uses for any photo format. Add several photos and they become a multi-page PDF in the order you set, entirely on your device.
Supported files
Accepts HEIC/HEIF photos. Produces a single PDF with one photo per page.
Is my file uploaded?
No. Photos are decoded and laid out entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded.

HEIC to PDF — frequently asked questions
Why can't I use the regular JPG to PDF tool for my iPhone photos?+
iPhones save photos as HEIC/HEIF by default, a format most browsers can't decode natively. This tool converts each photo to JPEG in your browser first, then builds the PDF the same way.
Does this upload my photos anywhere?+
No — the HEIC decoding and PDF assembly both happen entirely on your device. Nothing is sent to a server.
What about Live Photos or burst shots saved as HEIC?+
Only the first frame is used — Live Photo motion and extra burst frames aren't included in the PDF.
Can I mix HEIC photos with regular JPG or PNG files?+
Not in this tool — add only HEIC/HEIF files here. To mix formats, convert your HEIC photos first, then use JPG to PDF with all of them together.
How do I turn iPhone photos into a PDF for free?+
Drop your HEIC photos in here — they're decoded and combined into one PDF entirely in your browser, free and with no upload.
Do you upload my files to a server?+
No — every tool here processes your files entirely on your device, and nothing is uploaded to a server. The only exception is the AI tools, which send the extracted text (not the file) to Claude to do their work.
Is there a file size limit?+
There's no artificial limit we impose, but since processing happens in your browser, very large files (500+ MB or 1,000+ pages) are limited by your device's memory rather than by us.
