About signing a PDF
This adds a visible signature to a document — drawn with your mouse or finger, typed, or uploaded as an image — and places it where a signature line is. It is the fast way to return a signed agreement without printing and scanning.
The signature is drawn onto the page in your browser with pdf-lib and baked into the file you download. This is a visible signature, not a cryptographic digital signature, so it is right for everyday agreements rather than contexts that require certificate-based signing. Nothing is uploaded.
How to Sign PDF

Open the Sign PDF tool and drop your file onto the page, or click to browse for it. Everything runs in your browser — the file is never uploaded.

Is this a legally binding e-signature?+
This creates a visual signature image placed on the page — it's not a certified digital signature with identity verification. For contracts that require legal e-signature compliance, use a dedicated e-signature service.
Can I save my signature for reuse next time?+
Not currently — you'll draw your signature fresh each time you use the tool, and nothing is stored.
Do you upload my files to a server?+
No — every tool here processes your files entirely on your device, and nothing is uploaded to a server. The only exception is the AI tools, which send the extracted text (not the file) to Claude to do their work.
Is there a file size limit?+
There's no artificial limit we impose, but since processing happens in your browser, very large files (500+ MB or 1,000+ pages) are limited by your device's memory rather than by us.
