About adding blank pages to a PDF
A blank page is sometimes exactly what a document needs — a separator page before an appendix, a spacer so a booklet prints correctly on both sides, or a placeholder page you'll fill in later. This tool inserts one or more blank pages at the start, the end, a specific position, or after every existing page.
It builds each blank page to match the size of the surrounding pages and inserts it into the document with pdf-lib, entirely in your browser. You control how many blank pages to add and exactly where, so it works equally well for a single spacer or for padding a whole document to print correctly as a booklet.
Supported files

Add Blank Page — frequently asked questions
Why insert blanks between every page?+
So a double-sided document prints with each section starting on a right-hand page, or to leave room for notes.
Is there a free way to insert blank pages into a PDF?+
Yes — this tool inserts the blank pages entirely in your browser, free and with nothing uploaded.
Can I add more than one blank page at once?+
Yes — set how many to insert, and choose whether they go at the start, end, a specific position, or after every existing page.
Is my file uploaded to insert pages?+
No — blank pages are inserted entirely in your browser with pdf-lib.
Do you upload my files to a server?+
No — every tool here processes your files entirely on your device, and nothing is uploaded to a server. The only exception is the AI tools, which send the extracted text (not the file) to Claude to do their work.
Is there a file size limit?+
There's no artificial limit we impose, but since processing happens in your browser, very large files (500+ MB or 1,000+ pages) are limited by your device's memory rather than by us.
