About the PDF viewer
Sometimes you just want to open and read a PDF — scroll through it, zoom in on a detail, rotate a sideways-scanned page — without a full editing tool getting in the way, and without a browser plugin or a separate app. This tool renders any PDF right on the page using pdf.js, the same rendering engine behind Firefox's and Chrome's own built-in PDF viewers.
Every page is decoded and drawn to a canvas directly in your browser as you scroll, with standard zoom and rotate controls. Nothing about the file changes — this is a read-only viewer — and since nothing is uploaded, it works just as well on a private or sensitive document as a public one.
Supported files
Accepts any PDF. No file is produced — this is a read-only viewer with a download button for the original.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The PDF is rendered entirely in your browser with pdf.js — nothing is uploaded, even temporarily.

PDF Viewer — frequently asked questions
Is my file uploaded to view it?+
No — the PDF is opened and rendered entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, so it works offline once the page has loaded.
Can I edit the PDF here?+
This is a viewer only — scroll, zoom, and rotate the view. For changes, use one of the editing tools and open the result here afterwards.
Why is a large PDF slow to open?+
Every page is rasterized locally, which takes a moment for long or image-heavy documents. Pages appear as they finish rendering rather than all at once.
Is there a way to open a PDF online without uploading it?+
Yes — this viewer renders the file entirely in your browser, so it never reaches a server.
Do you upload my files to a server?+
No — every tool here processes your files entirely on your device, and nothing is uploaded to a server. The only exception is the AI tools, which send the extracted text (not the file) to Claude to do their work.
Is there a file size limit?+
There's no artificial limit we impose, but since processing happens in your browser, very large files (500+ MB or 1,000+ pages) are limited by your device's memory rather than by us.
