About extracting pages
Extracting pulls a specific set of pages into a brand-new PDF and leaves the original alone. It is the tool to reach for when someone asks for "just pages 4 to 9" of a document, or when you want to keep one section and archive the rest separately.
Pick the pages or ranges you need and the tool copies them, in order, into a fresh file in your browser. Because it is a copy rather than a re-render, the extracted pages keep their original resolution, fonts, and selectable text.
How to Extract pages

Open the tool
Open the Extract pages tool and drop your file onto the page, or click to browse for it. Everything runs in your browser — the file is never uploaded.

Select the page thumbnails you want to pull into a new document.

Download the new PDF
Click Extract and download a PDF containing only the pages you chose.

Does extracting pages remove them from the original?+
No — extraction creates a brand-new PDF containing copies of the pages you selected. Your original file is untouched.
Can I choose the order the extracted pages appear in?+
Extracted pages currently keep their original document order regardless of selection order.
Do you upload my files to a server?+
No — every tool here processes your files entirely on your device, and nothing is uploaded to a server. The only exception is the AI tools, which send the extracted text (not the file) to Claude to do their work.
Is there a file size limit?+
There's no artificial limit we impose, but since processing happens in your browser, very large files (500+ MB or 1,000+ pages) are limited by your device's memory rather than by us.
