About aligning PDF pages
A PDF assembled from mixed sources can end up with pages of different sizes whose content isn't consistently positioned — one page's content sits centered, another's hugs the top-left corner. This tool normalizes a mixed-size document to one page size with every page's content anchored the same way, so flipping through it feels consistent.
It resizes every page to a common size and repositions each page's content to your chosen anchor — top-left, top-center, center, or bottom-center — with pdf-lib, entirely in your browser. This is about consistent placement on a uniform page size, not rescaling content to fill it; for that, use Resize PDF Pages.

Align PDF Pages — frequently asked questions
Does content get resized?+
No — the original page content keeps its size and is positioned within the larger, uniform page box.
Is there a free way to normalize mixed page sizes in a PDF?+
Yes — this tool normalizes the page sizes entirely in your browser, free and with nothing uploaded.
Can I choose where the content sits on the new page size?+
Yes — pick an anchor point (top-left, top-center, center, or bottom-center) for how the original content is positioned.
Is my file uploaded to align it?+
No — pages are aligned entirely in your browser with pdf-lib.
Do you upload my files to a server?+
No — every tool here processes your files entirely on your device, and nothing is uploaded to a server. The only exception is the AI tools, which send the extracted text (not the file) to Claude to do their work.
Is there a file size limit?+
There's no artificial limit we impose, but since processing happens in your browser, very large files (500+ MB or 1,000+ pages) are limited by your device's memory rather than by us.
