About converting Excel to PDF

A spreadsheet turned into a PDF is easy to share and print without the recipient accidentally changing a formula or seeing your other sheets. It is the standard format for sending a finished table, invoice, or report.

PDFCure reads the workbook in your browser and lays the cells out onto PDF pages. Simple grids and formatted tables convert well; very wide sheets are scaled or split across pages, and interactive elements like slicers and charts based on live data may not carry over exactly.

Is my file uploaded?

No. The workbook is read and laid out onto PDF pages in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

Common problems

The table is tiny / half of it is cut off
A sheet wider than a page is scaled to fit or split. Set a print area in Excel, or use landscape orientation before exporting.
Only the first sheet converted
The tool converts the active/first sheet. Move the sheet you want to the front, or save each sheet as its own file.

Does this preserve cell formulas?+

No — cells convert to their currently displayed values, not their underlying formulas, since a PDF has no concept of formulas.

What if my spreadsheet has multiple sheets?+

Every sheet is included, each rendered as its own table with a heading, one after another in the PDF.

Is there a free Excel to PDF converter?+

Yes — upload your spreadsheet and every sheet is rendered into the PDF, free and with no sign-up.

Will a very wide spreadsheet fit on the page?+

Wide tables are scaled down to fit the page width, which can make small text hard to read in print on a very wide sheet — narrower sheets convert most cleanly.

Do you upload my files to a server?+

No — every tool here processes your files entirely on your device, and nothing is uploaded to a server. The only exception is the AI tools, which send the extracted text (not the file) to Claude to do their work.

Is there a file size limit?+

There's no artificial limit we impose, but since processing happens in your browser, very large files (500+ MB or 1,000+ pages) are limited by your device's memory rather than by us.
