No. The fade is applied entirely in your browser.

How long can the fades be?+

Up to 15 seconds each, or half the video's length if it's shorter than 30 seconds.

Is it a linear fade to black?+

Yes — a straight-line fade to and from black, the standard look for a clean open or close.

Which browsers work?+

Chrome, Edge and Safari 17+ — the fade is applied during a full re-encode, which needs WebCodecs.

你們會把我的檔案上傳到伺服器嗎？+
