How is reading time calculated?+
At roughly 238 words per minute for silent reading and 140 for speaking aloud — the averages from reading-speed research.
Does it count spaces?+
Both. It shows the character count with spaces and without, since different limits (SMS vs meta tags) count them differently.
Is my text saved?+
No. Everything is counted live in your browser and nothing is stored or sent.
