Is my video uploaded?+

No. The browser decodes the video's audio track locally and the audio file is built on your device — the video never leaves it.

Which browsers work best?+

Chrome and Safari decode MP4/MOV/WebM audio reliably. Firefox support is partial — if it can't read the track, the tool tells you clearly.

Does it re-encode the video?+

No — it only reads the audio track and writes it out as MP3 or WAV. The video itself is untouched and not saved.

What about large video files?+

The audio is decoded into memory, so a multi-GB 4K video may not fit. Shorter clips and 1080p files are fine.
