Resize PDF Pages — frequently asked questions

Will this stretch or distort my pages?+

No — each page is scaled uniformly (the same factor on both axes) to fit within the target size, then centered, so proportions are preserved. That can leave a margin on two sides if the original's aspect ratio doesn't match the target.

Does this crop or lose any content?+

No — the whole original page is scaled to fit, nothing is cropped off.

Can I make pages bigger instead of smaller?+

Yes — pick any target size; pages scale up the same way they scale down.

Do you upload my files to a server?+

No — every tool here processes your files entirely on your device, and nothing is uploaded to a server. The AI tools that used to send extracted text to a server are currently disabled.

Is there a file size limit?+

There's no artificial limit we impose, but since processing happens in your browser, very large files (500+ MB or 1,000+ pages) are limited by your device's memory rather than by us.
