Does it work on a scanned form with no real form fields?+
Yes — everything is placed visually on top of the page image, so it works the same whether the PDF has interactive fields or is a flat scan. For a PDF that does have real fillable fields, Fill PDF Form is the more precise choice.
Is the signature a legally certified e-signature?+
No — it's a visual signature image drawn onto the page, not a certified digital signature with identity verification. For contracts that require legal e-signature compliance, use a dedicated e-signature service.
Does my signature or the document leave my device?+
No — the PDF is rendered, filled, and saved entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded and your signature isn't stored.
Do you upload my files to a server?+
No — every tool here processes your files entirely on your device, and nothing is uploaded to a server. The AI tools that used to send extracted text to a server are currently disabled.
Is there a file size limit?+
There's no artificial limit we impose, but since processing happens in your browser, very large files (500+ MB or 1,000+ pages) are limited by your device's memory rather than by us.
