Is my video uploaded?+

No. The clip is re-recorded from a canvas in your browser — nothing is sent anywhere.

Why does it take as long as the clip?+

This trims by playing the selected part and re-recording it in real time, so a 30-second clip takes about 30 seconds. It's the simplest approach that works in every browser.

Is the video re-encoded?+

Yes — the output is a fresh recording, so there's a small quality change. For short clips it's hard to notice.

What format do I get?+

MP4 where your browser supports recording it (Chrome, Safari), otherwise WebM.

Uploaden jullie mijn bestanden naar een server?+

Nee — elke tool hier verwerkt je bestanden volledig op je apparaat, en er wordt niets naar een server geüpload. De enige uitzondering zijn de AI-tools, die de geëxtraheerde tekst (niet het bestand) naar Claude sturen om hun werk te doen.

Is er een limiet voor bestandsgrootte?+

Wij leggen geen kunstmatige limiet op, maar omdat de verwerking in je browser gebeurt, worden zeer grote bestanden (500+ MB of 1.000+ pagina's) beperkt door het geheugen van je apparaat, niet door ons.
