No. The screen is keyed out and the new background composited entirely in your browser.

Does it need a real green screen?+

It works best with an evenly lit, solid, uncrinkled green or blue backdrop and no matching color in the subject's clothes or skin tone — the same conditions any chroma key tool needs.

Can I use my own background image instead of a color?+

Yes — switch to Image and upload one; it's scaled to fill the frame behind the keyed subject.

Which browsers work?+

Chrome, Edge and Safari 17+ — keying the video needs WebCodecs.
