Is my audio uploaded?+
No. The file is decoded and re-encoded entirely in your browser using the Web Audio API — it never leaves your device. There's no ffmpeg and no server.
Which formats can I convert from?+
Anything your browser can decode — MP3, WAV, M4A/AAC, FLAC and OGG all work. Output is MP3 or WAV.
Why no FLAC or OGG output?+
Those need a separate encoder that would add a large download. MP3 (via a small in-browser encoder) and WAV (native) cover the common cases without the weight.
Is there a length limit?+
No fixed limit, but a very long file is held in memory while it's processed, so extremely large files depend on your device's RAM.
